Harry Kane will stay at Spurs - Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy

Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy have both confirmed that Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham this summer.

Kane, who finished as the runner-up to Eden Hazard for both the PFA Player of the Year and Footballer of the Year awards, has been mooted as a target for Manchester United.

But the England international, who signed a new five-year contract in February, said last week that he wants to remain at White Hart Lane "for a very long time."

And manager Pochettino and chairman Levy both stated they expect to keep Tottenham's top scorer, who bagged 31 goals this season.

Asked by supporters on Facebook if Kane will stay, both men replied: "Yes!"

Pochettino also said that attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard will be play a part in Spurs' squad next season after his reputation rose during a successful loan spell at Brentford.

Pritchard scored 11 goals and recorded seven assists as Brentford reached the Championship playoffs and earned himself a place in the England under-21 party for June's European Championships.

"He is in our plans for next season," Pochettino added. "He starts preseason when he gets back from the Euros and we are looking forward to having him back."

Tottenham have already made their first signing for next season, bringing in Austrian defender Kevin Wimmer, while Delle Ali, who they bought in January, is also due at White Hart Lane after being loaned back to MK Dons for the rest of the campaign.

Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League but Levy believes their new stadium, which is scheduled to be opened in 2018, could propel them into the ranks of the continent's elite.

"We want be one of the most successful clubs in Europe," Levy added. "The new stadium will be a game-changer for us. It will create revenues that we can invest in the first team and deliver success on the pitch, so that is a priority for us."
