Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette 'at a crossroads' amid Atletico Madrid links

Alexandre Lacazette has said he may not leave Lyon this summer after all, despite reports he has already agreed a move to Atletico Madrid.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas claimed last week claimed Lacazette, who finished as Lyon's top scorer with 28 Ligue 1 goals last season, had a verbal agreement to join Atletico, dependent on the Liga club's transfer ban being lifted.

Lacazette, 26, himself said earlier in the campaign that it was "the right moment" to leave Lyon, where he has come through the youth academy to become a first-team star and France international.

However, just as speculation he will leave OL grows, Lacazette has said he could yet stay.

"It's not sure that I leave the club where I came through the youth academy," he said. "There's nothing signed, nothing official. Yes, I can leave, it doesn't mean I'll leave.

"I'm at a crossroads. I'm not ruling out any option. I'm good in Lyon, but I could go elsewhere."
