Paul Pogba has confirmed he is talking to Juventus about a contract extension.

Reports in Italy last week said Juve were ready to offer Pogba a new deal that would see his salary rise from 1.5 million euros a year to 4.5 million euros, which would involve a one-year extension that would tie him to the club until 2019.

The France international, 21, did not confirm the details but said negotiations are already underway and he plans to have a meeting with the club's hierarchy in the near future.

"We are in talks over an extension," he told TF1. "I must soon see the club directors."

Pogba, who has reportedly attracted interest from an array of elite European clubs, joined Juve from Manchester United in 2012 and has already won two Serie A titles.
