England's Jordan Henderson to be fit for Euro 2016 - Liverpool's Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is certain that Jordan Henderson will be fit to compete at Euro 2016 with England.

Henderson, 25, has not played since April 7 after damaging the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee.

The midfielder has since returned to training and, although he is unlikely to make his comeback against Chelsea on Wednesday, he is making good progress ahead of manager Roy Hodgson's squad announcement for Euro 2016 on Thursday.

Klopp said at a news conference: "Yesterday Henderson was on the pitch, not with the team. Only running and passing. But he looks good.

"It's a short time before the Europa League final [against Sevilla on May 18] but Henderson will be 100 percent fit for the Euros in France."

Looking ahead of this week's meeting with Chelsea at Anfield, Klopp added: "It's Liverpool vs. Chelsea. Big game. Two really big clubs. I am looking forward to it.

"Our league position isn't fixed. Fifth is still possible. We will try everything for sure."
