Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang teased over orange juice claim

Morocco defender Medhi Benatia teased Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over his claim that his country's World Cup qualifying bid had been sabotaged by dodgy orange juice.

In a tweet posted hours before the teams met in a crucial African zone Group C qualifier in Morocco on Saturday, Aubameyang wrote: "Half of the team and staff with upset stomachs. Incredible on matchday...Oh no, it's a good one! What orange juice this morning!"

Gabon lost 3-0, ending their hopes of reaching the finals in Russia, and Benatia responded light-heartedly to Aubameyang's claims.

"Aubameyang, brother, with all the respect I have for you... you complained about our orange juice, which isn't good in Morocco it seems, and everyone was ill," the Juventus defender said in a video posted on social media.

"You're wrong, my little one, it's in the tea that we put something. In the tea!"

Morocco play Ivory Coast in November to determine which of the two nations goes to next summer's finals.
