Cook Islands picked up their first ever World Cup qualifying win when they beat Tonga 3-0 on Monday, thanks to a hat trick from Taylor Saghabi.
The Oceania minnows, ranked 206th in the 209-team FIFA rankings, are now top of their group in the week-long four-team tournament that will see the winners advance to the next stage of qualifying for Russia 2018.
Cook Islands picked up their first win in any game since beating Tonga 2-1 in a friendly in 2009 and they will now take on Samoa (ranked 197th) on Wednesday.

Monday's other game saw Samoa, victors at this stage four years ago, hold off American Samoa to win 3-2 after going down to 10 men and letting Frankie Beauchamp score twice to almost complete a comeback.
