Fans were pictured fighting at Wembley as England faced Scotland in a World Cup qualifier on Friday.
One man in the home end was pictured covered in blood and being given attention by stewards after the brawl had been broken up during England's 3-0 victory.
Video also showed fighting taking place in the stands.
The Daily Telegraph reported that there had earlier been violence among supporters gathered at London's Trafalgar Square for Armistice Day, with two men arrested and several injured.
Despite the incidents, the Metropolitan Police's football unit praised the atmosphere among the 87,258 supporters at Wembley as they respectfully observed the "Last Post," which is played to commemorate those killed in war.

England and Scotland wore black armbands embroidered with remembrance poppies for the match despite FIFA's ban on messages it considers to be commercial, personal, political or religious.
Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn had previously said he would fight any attempt to fine England for wearing the poppies.
