Kerem Bulut back with Western Sydney Wanderers in A-League

Cult hero Kerem Bulut is back to boost Western Sydney Wanderers' hopes ahead of the A-League season.

The 24-year-old striker has signed a two-year deal to return to the Wanderers after a season spent playing in Greece.

"I had a bit of a rough season last year so it's good to be back," said Bulut.

"We've got a big season coming up with the league and the [Asian] Champions League, the new squad is looking perfect and it's just good to be around at the club that I love."

A local product, Bulut endeared himself to the Wanderers' passionate fans right from his debut when he scored two goals off the bench in the Sydney derby after arriving early last year from Turkey.

He finished with six goals in 13 appearances before heading overseas at the end of the season.

"There are big goals to achieve this year -- from the coaching staff to the boys, we want to finish on top in the league, go as far as we can in the Champions League and, on a personal note, I want to help the team and score 15-20 goals," he said.
