West Ham skipper Mark Noble wants unbeaten finish to time at Upton Park

West Ham United captain Mark Noble is determined to say goodbye to Upton Park with their unbeaten run intact.

The Hammers set a new club record of 15 home Premier League matches without defeat when they beat Watford 3-1 on Wednesday night.

They have two home games remaining, against Swansea and Manchester United, before bidding farewell to the Boleyn Ground and heading to the Olympic Stadium.

And Noble is desperate to ensure a memorable end to a campaign which could yet see West Ham bring European football to their new home next season.

"Apart from the FA Cup we are unbeaten here since August which is unbelievable in the last ever year at the Boleyn," he told the club's official website.

"It is a great achievement from us and we want to keep it that way. There has been a lot of hard work, determination and skill that has helped us along the way.

"For me to lead the boys through that is fantastic. We want to keep doing that until the end and see what happens."

Noble scored two penalties, after Andy Carroll had opened the scoring, to help see off the Hornets.

The long-serving midfielder now boasts an impressive record of 25 successful spot kicks from 28 attempts.

"I am delighted with my record from the penalty spot," he added. "They were two important ones as we were only 1-0 up and it was a dangerous game for us.

"I just try and relax when I take them. I pick my spot and remain confident. I have never changed the way I take them. I always believe in myself and 25 out of 28 is not bad."

Watford pulled one back through Sebastian Prodl and had a late Troy Deeney penalty saved before Nordin Amrabat was sent off in injury time.

Boss Quique Sanchez Flores made seven changes with Sunday's FA Cup semifinal against Crystal Palace in mind, and despite the defeat he insists they will head to Wembley in good heart.

"We knew we would play against an amazing team that is very tough and powerful and their style is very difficult, but I think we were competitive," he said.

"We played good football and had very good possession of the ball. We had attempts and reacted very well."
