Forward Cedric Bakambu signed a two-year contract extension with Villarreal on Thursday.
The new deal commits the 26-year-old to the La Liga club until 2022 amid links to a move to West Ham and Newcastle.
Bakambu scored 11 league goals last season, helping Fran Escriba's side qualify for the Europa League with a fifth-place finish.
He is 33 goals in all competitions since joining from Bursaspor in August 2015.
