CARSON, Calif. -- Santos Laguna left-back Jorge Villafana has been added to the U.S. roster for its training camp ahead of this weekend's friendly against Serbia.
The 27-year-old has never played for the national team. He was with Chivas USA from 2007-13 and Portland from 2014-15.
Villafana's addition was announced on Wednesday.
Twenty-nine players are in camp ahead of Sunday's game in San Diego, the first for the U.S. since Bruce Arena returned for his second stint as coach after replacing Jurgen Klinsmann.
