The United States will play Guatemala in a friendly on July 3 in Nashville, Tennessee, in the Americans' last game before opening the defense of their CONCACAF Gold Cup title.
The latest addition to the schedule was announced on Monday. The U.S. also has upcoming friendlies at Netherlands on June 5 and Germany five days later.
The Americans open the Gold Cup, the championship of North and Central America and the Caribbean, against Honduras on July 7 in Frisco, Texas. They play Haiti three days later in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and close the first round against Panama on July 13 in Kansas City, Kansas.
If the U.S. wins the tournament, it qualifies for the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia. If another nation wins the Gold Cup final in Philadelphia on July 26, it would meet the Americans in a playoff for the Confederations Cup berth.
