Ajax will not hide against Manchester United in Europa League final - Younes

Ajax will not "hide" in the Europa League final against Manchester United on Wednesday night, midfielder Amin Younes has said.

The Dutch club reached their first European final in 21 years with a young team including 18-year-old Justin Kluivert, the son of Patrick Kluivert, and 23-year-old Younes.

Younes, who has been called up to Germany's Confederations Cup squad by coach Joachim Low, told Sport 1: "It's one match -- everything's possible.

"We must stick to what makes us strong, play a pressing game and not hide.

"We are allowed mistakes and can then smooth them out. This has been one of our biggest strengths.

"I hope that it stays that way, and that everyone will be in top form against Manchester United."

Younes said he was "totally focused" on the challenge of facing Jose Mourinho's side but added: "Whenever I talk to family or friends and they tell me I am playing the final versus Manchester United I realise that they are right -- Manchester United are a big name.

"But you still want to be prepared the best way possible for the match. I am looking forward to it, just like the rest of the lads here."

Ajax eliminated Legia Warsaw, FC Copenhagen, Schalke and Lyon on their way to the final in Stockholm.
