Hearts hit back to seal Europa League win, Aberdeen score late to win

Prince Buaben's penalty and an own goal from Andrei Kalimullin secured Hearts a slender 2-1 advantage in the first leg of their Europa League first qualifying round clash against FC Infonet Tallinn at Tynecastle.

Ghanaian midfielder Buaben despatched a 28th-minute spot kick after Infonet midfielder Michael Ofosu-Appiah had handled to cancel out Jevgeni Harin's emphatic opener for the Estonians seven minutes earlier.

Hearts went two up before the break when a goalline clearance from Callum Paterson's effort rebounded back off Kalimullin and into the net, although the Scottish Premier League side were never totally comfortable against opponents who were dangerous on the break.

Niall McGinn and Adam Rooney hit dramatic late goals for Aberdeen against Fola Esch at Pittodrie.

Shay Logan's second-half opener was immediately cancelled out by Julien Klein but Aberdeen remained the dominant side and scored in added time through McGinn and Rooney to wrap up a 3-1 win.

Llandudno return from Sweden with an even bigger task ahead after they went down 5-0 in Gothenburg.

Northern Ireland Premier League side Glenavon lost 2-1 to KR Reykjavik despite taking a 14th-minute lead through Simon Kelly.

The Icelanders hit back with goals from Palmi Palmason (40) and a controversial 79th-minute penalty from Holmbert Fridjonsson, who was adjudged to have been fouled by Joel Cooper.
