Dele Alli has said Tottenham must remember that Barcelona are only human and be ready to pounce on any mistakes as they travel to Camp Nou for a crucial Champions League game on Tuesday. Spurs have their fate in their hands in the final Group B fixture but will probably need to beat Barca to secure second place, with Inter Milan on the same number of points and hosting bottom side PSV Eindhoven. Barcelona are unbeaten in 28 Champions League home matches dating back to September 2013, but Alli said he felt Spurs would get opportunities. "We're definitely going there with confidence," he said. "We know it's going to be a difficult game -- but they're human, and everyone makes mistakes. "We've got to make sure we punish them and try to be as on it as we can be. "These are the games you want to be part of, playing one of the best teams in the world with some of the world's greatest players. "You want to be challenging yourself. We're going there with the mentality that we can win, and we have to believe. How would a win rank among our best results? It would definitely be up there." England international Alli said it was a dream to play at Camp Nou and praised Barca star Lionel Messi as "a player that everyone idolises." "For me, he's the best player in the world -- a fantastic player and a joy to watch," he said. Alli scored his 50th goal for Tottenham in the 2-0 win at Leicester on Saturday, their eighth victory from nine matches in all competitions. "I'm delighted to get the 50 but I want to get many more, and I don't want to be recognised just for scoring goals," the 22-year-old said. "I want to help the team in a lot of other ways as well. We've got a lot of players that can score goals, so sometimes you need to chip in with other work too and help defensively and create for others." Tottenham are within six points of leaders Liverpool, but Alli said: "We don't want to get dragged into [talking about] the title race and thinking about that, because then we can start focusing too much on the performances and get carried away with it. "We've just got to keep doing what we're doing, taking each game as it comes."
