Jamie Vardy promises Leicester will 'give it our all' in Champions League

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is confident ahead of the English champions' first Champions League campaign, saying: "We know we can hurt teams."

The Premier League winners face Porto, Bruges and FC Copenhagen in the competition, and Vardy said the Foxes would "give it our all."

The England international striker scored his first goal of the season as the champions secured their first win, 2-1 at home to Swansea.

And looking ahead to the European challenge, Vardy told reporters: "We'll take on anyone. We will always give it our all and it's a new experience for us, so we're going to go out and enjoy it.

"They will obviously be doing their homework on us, because they won't have seen that much, and we'll be doing exactly the same."

Vardy said Claudio Ranieri's side were "just enjoying ourselves" but warned: "We know we can hurt teams.

"People saw that last year, so we'll just keep going out on that pitch enjoying ourselves."
