UCL - Celtic rally after first-leg loss to see off Lincoln Red Imps

Celtic put part-time Lincoln Red Imps in their place with a 3-0 Parkhead win that set up a Champions League third-round qualifying meeting with Astana.

The Hoops had been embarrassed by a 1-0 defeat in last week's first leg in Gibraltar, in what was new boss Brendan Rodgers' first competitive game.

However, Celtic burst out of the traps eager to get revenge and three first-half goals from defender Mikael Lustig, striker Leigh Griffiths and winger Patrick Roberts had the tie finished before the break, with the second half a mere formality.

Marko Pjaca scored twice as Dinamo Zagreb beat Macedonian First League side Vardar 3-2 to advance 5-3 on aggregate.

The visitors were twice ahead in the match as they tried to claw back a 3-1 first-leg deficit, as Darko Velkovski opened the scoring for Vardar in the 39th minute.

Pjaca's first levelled things before an own goal from Zagreb's Gordon Schildenfeld once again had Zardar in front. However, a second from Pjaca and a Paulo Machado goal as full-time approached ensured passage for the Croatian club.

Irish Premier League side Dundalk drew 2-2 with FH Hafnarfjordur but advance on away goals following the 3-3 aggregate final.

Sam Hewson and Kristján Finnbogason scored for the hosts, but two David McMillan goals allowed the visitors to advance.

FC Astana made things interesting against Zalgiris Vilnius, needing a late goal to win 2-1 to avoid missing out on passage to an away goal from the Lithuanian club.

Marin Anicic did the honours for the hosts in both halves either side of a Elivelto Ribeiro goal in the 57th minute.

A 1-1 draw was enough for FK Qarabag to beat F91 Dudelange 3-1 on aggregate after Qarabag ran out 2-0 winners in the first leg.

Rosenborg's 3-1 win in the first leg was critical in their 5-4 aggregate win against IFK Norrkoping. Ferencvaros and Partizani Tirana needed penalties to determine a winner after a pair of 1-1 draws in both legs, as the Albanian visitors prevailed 3-1 from the spot.

AS Trencin's four away goals in the first leg were enough to advance past Olimpija Ljubljana after a 6-6 aggregate finish. The Lithuanian visitors were 3-2 winners on the day, but their failure to defend home field proved their downfall.
