Jack Wilshere: Arsenal have yet to really get going so far this season

Jack Wilshere has conceded Arsenal "have not clicked" so far this season, but is convinced they will find their form sooner rather than later.

An indifferent start to the campaign for the Gunners hit a new low after their 2-0 Champions League defeat against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

But despite Arsene Wenger's side being comprehensively outplayed by the Bundesliga outfit, Wilshere is not starting to panic just yet.

"We'll bounce back," Wilshere told the Evening Standard. "We have got a home game next time [in the Champions League against Galatasaray] and hopefully we will get the three points.

"It hasn't quite clicked for us yet this season but we've got a lot of quality players and I'm sure it'll come right.

"Dortmund are a good team and we have got to be a bit smarter when we come to places like this. With their game plan, they wanted to press us high up the pitch and we let them do it in the first half.

"I thought we started the second half quite brightly in the first couple of minutes and then unfortunately it was the same thing again on the counter-attack and then the game is over.

"We knew what they were going to do. We should have played maybe a little bit longer in the first half than trying to play our football in our half of the pitch because once you lose it there, they are straight onto us."

Arsenal are currently waiting for an update on Wilshere's fitness after Wenger confirmed the midfielder twisted his ankle against Dortmund.
