Joe Hart's 'great charisma' gives Torino more confidence - Sinisa Mihajlovic

Sinisa Mihajlovic has said Joe Hart's "great charisma" is paying dividends after Torino claimed a first Serie A home win over Roma in 26 years.

Hart, 29, thwarted former Manchester City teammate Edin Dzeko on a number of occasions, underpinning the hosts' 3-1 victory.

"We signed Hart [on loan from Manchester City] for his enthusiasm, spirit and experience,'' Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia. "Before he arrived, I spoke to him to understand his spirit.

"He is a great guy and a wonderful professional, an international level goalkeeper with great charisma. His presence makes the rest of the team feel more confident."

Hart endured a frustrating debut with Torino, his weak punch gifting Andrea Masiello a goal as his new side lost 2-1 at Atalanta on Sept. 11.

Since then the England international has kept two clean sheets, and he again performed well in the win over Roma.

"This was our best performance of the season: I saw 11 bulls out there today,'' Mihajlovic said.

"We scored three goals, hit the woodwork and created another four or five clear-cut chances. We allowed Roma very little, so it was a deserved victory."

Andrea Belotti, who scored for Torino, boasts five goals in three starts this season, with Mihajlovic backing the 22-year-old to become one of the best strikers in the country.

"He's scored five goals in three games despite missing two penalties and hitting the upright,'' he said.

"Today he fought hard and created. He is very generous and will become one of the best strikers in Italy.''

Iago Falque, on loan from Roma, bagged a brace against his parent club and he hailed Torino's victory as crucial to their chances of a positive campaign.

"Those goals are very important for us,'' he told Sky Sport Italia. "We had a great performance, the three points were very important as recent results were not good and this game can change the dynamics, giving us an extra boost."
