Moroccan Premier League side Raja Club Athletic Casablanca has signed Ugandan striker Muhammad Shaban on a three-year contract.

The 19-year-old, who was KCCA FC's top scorer with 18 goals last season, was unveiled on Wednesday.

"Ugandan Muhammad Shaban has signed a contract with Raja Club Athletic Casablanca," the club announced on their website on Wednesday.

The striker traveled to South Africa two weeks ago with KCCA FC's Chief Executive Officer Josephine Namukisa with a view to a move to...

Javier Martinez Espinosa appointed by Vipers SC

Ugandan champions Vipers Sports Club have appointed Mexican coach Javier Martinez Espinosa to replace Miguel Da Costa.

The Portuguese coach was unexpectedly sacked on July 17, only a month after he guided Vipers to the Ugandan Premier League title, with the club explaining that he was a casualty of 'restructuring'.

Espinosa was unveiled at the club's St. Mary's Stadium on Monday, having signed a two-year deal.

"It's a pleasure to be in Uganda and I am ready to work to win trophies," the coach told...

Orlando Pirates-bound Muhammad Shaban not to blame for KCCA FC loss - Mutebi

Mike Mutebi has refused to blame wonderkid striker Mohamed Shaban after he missed KCCA FC's CAF Champions League defeat by Esperance due to his impending move to Orlando Pirates.

The Tunisian giants beat 10-men KCCA FC 1-0 at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Saturday to reach the quarter finals, with substitute Haithem Jouini netting the lone goal.

KCCA were muted without wonderkid striker Shaban as he nears a switch to PSL, but Mutebi doesn't believe that his absence was decisive.

"We...

Departing wonderkid Muhammad Shaban set to miss KCCA FC-Esperance

KCCA FC will be without striker Muhammad Shaban when they face Esperance in the CAF Champions League in Kampala on Saturday.

The Ugandan heavyweights are under pressure to secure a result after letting a two-goal lead slip to lose 3-2 in Tunisia in the first match between the two sides last week.

That defeat left them bottom of Group A, having taken three points from their opening three matches. Esperance, by contrast, sit atop the standings on seven.

KCCA's task will be made trickier due to the...

KCCA's naivety must end vs. Esperance - Mutebi

KCCA FC can allow no room for error when they host Esperance in their CAF Champions League clash on Saturday after they let a two-goal lead slip in the first meeting between the two sides, according to coach Mike Mutebi.

The Ugandan heavyweights tore into a two-goal lead inside the first 22 minutes at the Stade Olympique de Rades on July 17, but conceded twice inside three first-half minutes as the hosts levelled the contest.

Bilel Mejri then struck an 82nd-minute winner for Esperance as KCCA's...
