Singapore under-21 coach Richard Tardy is keen to put his charges to the test when they take on the Malaysia under-21s at the inaugural Nations Cup in Malacca next month.

It's still tough to pinpoint how on earth Leicester City are Premier League champions, but a few theories spring to mind: The 24 goals of England striker Jamie Vardy, the flamboyant guile of PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez, and the grit of one-man midfield show N'Golo Kante have all been pivotal.

The "dilly ding, dilly dong" rally cry of wacky yet wily manager Claudio Ranieri or the investment and infectious ambition of Leicester's Thai owners are clearly colossal factors, too.

English champions Leicester City won new fans in Myanmar after making a whirlwind trip to the capital city, Yangon.

Manager Claudio Ranieiri was the star attraction as the squad visited the Shwedagon Pagoda, met local monks and mingled with supporters.

Singapore U21 captain Ammirul Emmran has warned his teammates to expect a feisty encounter against Malaysia at the Nations Cup in June.

The quadrangular tournament has attracted Southeast Asian powerhouses Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand to the showpiece event in Malacca.

Scheduled for June 3 and 5 at the Hang Jebat Stadium, the four teams will vie for the title, with Thailand as the pre-tournament favourites.
