Francis Forkey Doe has been given a reprieve by Selangor and will complete the 2017 MSL season.

Francis Forkey Doe will continue to don Selangor colours for the remainder of the Malaysia Super League (MSL) season, with the club confirming that the saga over last month's arrest for possession of an unauthorised vehicle has been put to bed.

The Liberian striker was remanded by police in the early hours of May 5 after the incident.

Doe was kept in custody for a couple of days before being fined RM6,000 in default of six months' jail.

Francis Forkey Doe won't join his teammates for the MSL trip to Kuching.

Francis Forkey Doe has been dropped from the Selangor side to face Sarawak in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) on Tuesday, even though the Liberian striker has been released after his arrest last week.

Doe was picked up by police for driving a cloned car last Thursday. After his release, he attended Selangor training on Saturday, pending investigations.

The career of Francis Forkey Doe, who was arrested on Friday for possession of an unauthorised vehicle, could be over with Malaysia Super League (MSL) giants Selangor.

Sources tell ESPN FC that the Liberian striker may have played his last game for the team.

He was picked up by the police in early hours of Friday morning for driving a BMW that had a false registration plate and did not have a registered chassis number.
