Gabon international Aubameyang is available for his club again after his nation exited the African Nations Cup.

Gabon were eliminated from the tournament following three draws and only two goals, both of them scored by Aubameyang, on Sunday.

"I think it cuts both ways. I felt sorry for him. Gabon did not lose a match, but still they were eliminated," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told

Hosts Gabon were knocked out of the African Nations Cup after a 0-0 draw with Cameroon.

Hugo Broos' Cameroon qualified from Group A following the stalemate with Burkina Faso topping the group after a 2-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau.

Gabon only had themselves to blame after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's awful early miss in Libreville while Denis Bouanga hit the post in stoppage time.
