France fans flock to get new shirt with two World Cup winners' stars

France's new shirt is adorned with two stars, one for each World Cup win.

France fans can now wear their pride in their nation's 2018 World Cup triumph firmly on their chests after a second star was added to the national team's kit -- and there have been big queues to be the one of the first to own it.

Les Bleus lifted the trophy for a second time in their history in Russia just over a month ago, and kit manufacturers Nike wasted no time in commemorating that victory on their official apparel.

"I'll keep it all my life. It's the second star! They made our dreams come...

Man United's Paul Pogba marks France World Cup win with stars in his hair

Paul Pogba had two stars painted into his hair to mark France's second World Cup win
Paul Pogba marked France's World Cup victory in his own inimitable style.

Paul Pogba is set to kick off the new domestic season with a brand new haircut that reflects his truly momentous summer of international football.

After helping propel France to a second World Cup triumph out in Russia, Pogba has gone and had Les Bleus' two stars daubed onto the back of his head.

In somewhat unorthodox fashion, Pogba appears to have produced a movie-style trailer for his new haircut, which he duly shared on Instagram.

"Back home with the two stars," the 25-year-old wrote.

Man United's Paul Pogba enjoys post-World Cup holiday 'far away'

Still on holiday after a hectic summer spent winning a World Cup, it would appear that Paul Pogba has swapped the hurlyburly of Los Angeles for somewhere a little more tranquil and tropical.

The Manchester United midfielder shared a glimpse of his final week of vacation on social media, breaking out the ukulele as he relaxed somewhere "far away."

France's Olivier Giroud honours World Cup bet, shaves head

Ever a man of his word, Olivier Giroud has honoured a bet he made before the World Cup by getting his head shaved.

The 31-year-old striker vowed to surrender his hair should France emerge victorious in Russia.

"I only have one rule, so I will respect it," he said. "My wife wants me to do it after the baptism of our son on Sunday."

Lo and behold, Giroud posted a selfie on social media later that very day to prove he'd kept up his end of the bargain.

While teammates Hugo Lloris and Nabil Fekir also...

Antoine Griezmann wants diamond-encrusted World Cup ring for France squad

At the request of Antoine Griezmann, the entire France squad may soon be receiving diamond-encrusted mementos of their World Cup triumph.

After being contacted by Griezmann, a jeweller in Los Angeles created a prototype design for a "Superbowl winners" ring, complete with red, white and blue gems and the French Football Federation (FFF) crest rendered in gold.

The Atletico Madrid striker is a huge fan of American sports and is reportedly keen to furnish himself with an NFL/NBA style trinket to celebrate...

Man United must free Paul Pogba; France role won't work in Premier League

After Julien Laurens hails Paul Pogba's role in France's World Cup triumph, the FC crew examine whether the tournament was a new beginning for him.

Back in 1998, the last time France won the World Cup, Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf returned to England and appeared on "They Think It's All Over," a sport-based comedy television show.

In other countries, or other programmes, Leboeuf might have been greeted with reverence. Instead he was the target of mockery throughout and responded to every joke with a simple line: "I don't care. I won the World Cup." Which, in fairness, serves as a decent response to any jibe. Once you win the World Cup, who...
