Morocco ended a bruising international break with a 2-2 draw against tiny Comoros in Mitsamiouli as El Fardou Ben Nabouhane scored a 90th-minute equaliser to keep their Africa Cup of Nations hosts alive.

Comoros appoint Athoumane as new federation president

The Comoros Football Federation have appointed Said Ali Said Athoumane as their new president, following an election on Saturday.

Athoumane is the long-term successor to Omar Hassanaly, who was holding the role in an interim capacity since November 2017 when Tourqui Salim resigned.
