Milos Ninkovic sweeps the board at awards for champions Sydney FC

A-League Player of the Season Milos Ninkovic has made it a clean sweep of Sydney FC's awards.

Ninkovic, whose stunning season culminated in the Johnny Warren Medal -- for the overall A-League Player of the Season, a premiers-championship double and a one-year marquee deal, was named Player of the Year at the Sky Blues' awards night on Friday.

Ninkovic beat goalkeeper Danny Vukovic, Golden Boot striker Bobo (15 goals) and captain Alex Brosque to the top gong, voted for by a select panel of coaching staff after each match.

He also won the Players' Player of the Year and Members' Player of the Year awards, following in the footsteps of midfield compatriot Milos Dimitrijevic and former Sydney defender Matt Jurman in collecting all three major honours.

It comes after a scintillating campaign in which the 32-year-old scored nine goals and notched 11 assists in 28 games, capping it off by scoring the winning penalty in Sunday's grand-final win over Melbourne Victory.

"These awards are not only for me, they are for the team. We won together and as a family everybody played their part," Ninkovic said.

"I am focused now on defending our titles and I can't wait to play in the Asian Champions League again and win that for our club."

Head of strength and conditioning Andrew Clark, the man behind Sydney's remarkable fitness, took the chairman's award.
