Francesco Guidolin sure he can turn things around at Swansea City

Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin vowed to fight on after another defeat cast further doubt over his future at the Liberty Stadium.

James Milner converted a late penalty to give Liverpool a 2-1 win over the Swans after Roberto Firmino's header had cancelled out Leroy Fer's early effort for the hosts.

When asked if he felt he could lose his job after this latest setback, the Italian told Sky Sports 2: "This is not my decision. I just have to work every day, every week to prepare the team, prepare for the game. This is my job and I know the situation.

"Our relationship is good and no problem between me and my players. There is a very good relationship and I am sure they played a very good game.

"My team played a very good game against a very strong team and I think a draw would have been the right result. We played better in the first half and in the second half Liverpool played better than we did.

"We need a result because it is not a good moment but we have all possibility to turn this around."
