Freiburg: Reported Manchester United target Caglar Soyuncu is staying

Caglar Soyuncu is reportedly interesting Manchester United.

Freiburg have said they are not interested in allowing defender Caglar Soyuncu, linked with Manchester United, to leave in the summer.

Soyuncu joined Freiburg from Turkish second-tier club Izmir in 2016 and has enjoyed an outstanding season in the Bundesliga.

Reports in the Turkish media have linked the 20-year-old with United and rivals Manchester City but Freiburg sporting director Jochen Saier told kicker: "There is no price tag attached to Soyuncu.

"He is not for sale this summer because we want to continue on our path with him and he also wants that."

Soyuncu, meanwhile, said he felt he was "in exactly the right place" and added: "I am not thinking about a summer transfer."
