Callum Wilson signs four-year contract extension at AFC Bournemouth

Wilson has made 52 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring a total of 25 goals.

Callum Wilson has committed his future to AFC Bournemouth by signing a new four-year deal at the club.

Wilson, 24, helped fire the Cherries to the Premier League after scoring 20 league goals for the club in their Championship-winning 2014-15 season.

The striker made a positive impact last season in the Premier League as well, scoring five goals in six starts, before suffering a long-term injury which kept him out for majority of the season.

Wilson is now tied to the club until June 2020.

"We're absolutely delighted that Callum has signed a new four-year deal," chief executive Neill Blake told the club's official website.

"Callum has constantly improved during his time here and only his injury stopped him from having a big impact in the Premier League last year.

"Now back to full fitness, we're excited to see Callum continue to improve over the next four years."
