Dimitri Payet 'very likely' to stay at West Ham next season
West Ham United midfielder Dimitri Payet has played down speculation that he will seek to move on from the East London club this summer.
After a stellar season with West Ham, Payet has been linked to a number of clubs -- including Barcelona and Champions League winners Real Madrid.
However, speaking to French reporters on Saturday, Payet laughed off the speculation saying: "Journalists have placed me everywhere!"
Despite that, Payet -- who's season in the Premier League has earned him a recall to France's national side -- said: "I currently have no contact [from other clubs] and I signed a very long contract with West Ham," adding: "It is very likely that I'll still be here next season."
Having signed for West Ham from Marseille last year, Payet has scored nine league goals and made 12 assists in the last season and agrees it has been one of his best.
He said: "It's true that the last two years have been the best [of my career], but I still hope to progress.
"You can always learn and I work hard to be able to raise my level."
