Japan at full strength for Cameroon clash

TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japan coach Zico has included seven European-based players in a 23-man squad for the home friendly against Cameroon on November 19.

Captain Hidetoshi Nakata (Parma), Junichi Inamoto (Fulham) and Shinji Ono (Feyenoord) were called up on Monday for the game against the African champions at Oita 'Big Eye' World Cup Stadium.

Reggina midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has been ruled out with an ankle injury but Japan are unlikely to suffer from his absence with Toshiya Fujita, who plays for Dutch club Utrecht, also selected by Zico.

'This is will be a good opportunity for us to learn a few things from a team that has shown real quality in the African Nations Cup,' said the Brazilian.
