Andre-Pierre Gignac has Tigres medical as Ikechukwu Uche signs
Tigres have signed Villarreal's Ikechukwu Uche and are expected to complete a deal for Marseille's Andre-Pierre Gignac, who has undergone a medical.
The two forwards have been brought in to bolster the attack ahead of the Liga MX club's meeting with Brazil's Internacional in the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores next month. No Mexican team has ever won the prestigious competition, equivalent to Europe's Champions League.

Gignac was the second-highest scorer in Ligue 1 during the 2014-15 season with 21 goals and would represent a rare high-profile European signing for the league.
"I'm very happy, I've come to win the league and the Libertadores," said Gignac, who was welcomed by Tigres' fans upon his arrival at the Monterrey airport.
The club also posted a vine from Gignac to the fans on their Twitter feed.
Uche, who won the African Nations Cup with Nigeria in 2013, scored 30 goals in three seasons at Villarreal. The 31-year-old posted this on his Twitter account following the signing.
Both players will also figure prominently in Tigres' 2015-16 Apertura campaign, which kicks off on July 25.
