Coach denies Ibrahimovic 'quotes'

Throughout his illustrious career Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become renowned for his uncanny ability to produce the spectacular on a regular basis.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's former coach has accused TuttoSport of inventing quotes in which he said the Paris Saint-Germain forward wanted to return to Juventus before he retires.

- Johnson: Ibra double secures PSG silverware
- The Toe Poke: Ibra's training golazo

Stefan Hansson, a youth coach at Swedish club Malmo when Ibrahimovic began his career in the mid-1990s, told SportExpressen.se that the quotes -- widely reported -- had been fabricated.

Hansson, who now coaches Indonesian outfit Mitra Kukar, was quoted as having said: "We spoke on Skype a few days ago, and he told me that he would like to return to Juventus, if not this year then next year. But it is not a matter of money."

But he said: "He [the journalist] asked me if I had spoken to Zlatan, and I told him it was a few years ago.

"The next question was about if he would return to Juventus, and I replied: 'I haven't the slightest idea. You can ask him yourself.'

"He's now in Paris, and he has a good contract. Zlatan is Zlatan. He runs his own race.

"The Italian from Tuttosport I talked to has distorted the whole story -- that we've been talking on Skype, and that I have the answers to things surrounding his future.

"Zlatan and I talked eight, nine years ago. I've met him three or four times. I know the family a bit, and have coached him, but not more than that.

"It is deplorable that it has taken on these kinds of proportions when they find out what I have said. What the hell are they doing?"

Ibrahimovic, 23 has been linked with a return to Italy throughout his time at PSG, with whom he has won consecutive titles in his two seasons in France.

The Sweden international played for Juventus between 2004 and 2006, winning back-to-back Serie A crowns before their relegation to Serie B in the aftermath of the Calciopoli scandal.

He is under contract until 2016 and has previously indicated that the French champions will be the last major club of his career, suggesting a move away from Paris is unlikely.
