Jon Walters hailed a professional performance from Stoke after they won 4-1 at Rochdale in the FA Cup on Monday.
Stoke booked a fifth-round tie with Blackburn thanks to goals from Bojan, Stephen Ireland, Victor Moses and Walters.
"It was always going to be tricky, but after the Bojan strike it was a professional game and we killed it," he told BT Sport 1.
After seeing a host of big names go out at the weekend, Stoke did well to avoid another shock and Walters now wants them to kick on.
"Before the game we knew what we needed to do," he said. "We did well in this competition a few years ago, but now we have Blackburn away and that's an interesting game.
"We are full of confidence and will take this into the league."
