Alaves midfielder Marcos Llorente hoping for summer Bernabeu return

Alaves midfielder Marcos Llorente has said he hopes to return to parent club Real Madrid next season.

Llorente joined Alaves on loan for the season and has started 19 games, helping them to reach a first Copa del Rey final.

But he told AS: "I'm looking forward to returning -- it's my dream to play and succeed at Madrid. What I want is to go back."

Llorente came through Madrid's Castilla youth team and made his debut for them under Rafa Benitez last season.

AS recently reported that Real have already made the decision to bring Llorente, the son of former Real player Paco Llorente, back in the summer as an understudy to holding midfielder Casemiro.

But he said: "It could be that next year I continue here, although I am a Real Madrid player and I will have to do what they say.

"I will always remember Alaves. They have put their trust in me."
