Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he still loves Manchester United and says that he does not see himself finishing his career in America or the Middle East.
Ronaldo, 30, joined Madrid for a world-record transfer fee of £80 million in 2009 from United, and his future has been the subject of almost daily speculation in recent weeks.
The forward insists that he is happy at the Bernabeu for now, but repeated that you can never predict the future in football.
"I'm a huge supporter of Manchester United -- as I say many times, I'm very comfortable in Real Madrid now, I feel happy," he told the Jonathan Ross show on Saturday night.
"But as people know I like Manchester United, I love that club, but [the] future, nobody knows. But right now I feel good and I feel happy in Real Madrid."
The Portugal star has been linked with a return to England, as well as French champions PSG and also a more left field move out to MLS or the lucrative Middle East leagues.
However, the three-time Ballon d'Or winner played down suggestions that he was ready to take a step down from the highest level.
"In my mind I want to finish in the top level, I want to finish with dignity so in a good club," he said. "It doesn't mean that to go USA or Qatar or Dubai is not good but I don't see myself [going there]."
Ronaldo also has no plans to follow in the footsteps of "father figure" Sir Alex Ferguson and added: "No, I have no passion to coach. I want to carry on with my brands. I have many brands and I want to grow that."
