Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo in dispute with Real Sociedad

Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo could take former club Real Sociedad to court over a €1.3 million bonus he feels he is owed from his transfer to the Camp Nou last summer.

Bravo joined Barca for €13m and, according to Mundo Deportivo, his contract at the San Sebastian stipulated that he was entitled to 10 percent of any transfer fee.

However, the newspaper reports that Real Sociedad believe the Chile international had agreed to forgo his share of the fee during the negotiations that led to his move to Barca.

An official attempt at mediation attended by both clubs ended without a resolution, meaning Bravo must make an official legal complaint if he wants to take the matter any further, according to a statement published on La Real's official website.

"This morning in Barcelona there took place a conciliation hearing sought by Claudio Bravo against Real Sociedad and FC Barcelona," the statement read.

"The hearing has ended without agreement so, for the Chilean goalkeeper to continue his claim, he must make a demand in the Labour Court. Real Sociedad maintain that the claim is inadmissible."

Mundo Deportivo says Bravo now has until July 1 to take the matter to Spain's Labour Court, and that the player is likely to bring a case against his former club, with Barca's representatives at the initial mediation hearing having testified in favour of their player's position.

Barcelona have not officially commented on the matter.

Bravo enjoyed a superb debut season at Barca in which he kept 23 clean sheets in 37 appearances as Luis Enrique's team won the title, with the Chile international collecting the Zamora award for La Liga's best goalkeeper.
