Chippa United and Golden Arrows are through the Nedbank Cup semi-finals after 1-0 victories on Saturday afternoon.

Arrows won through against Platinum Stars at the Princess Magogo Stadium, with veteran defender Musa Bilankulu heading home on 40 minutes.

The Durban-based side, who are flying high in seventh spot in the League standings, could have had a few more as they dominated for large parts, but will ultimately settle for 1-0 win.

Chippa reached their first-ever Nedbank Cup semi-final after beating Jomo Cosmos at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. The only goal of the match came 18 minutes from time - Lerato Manzini netting his eighth of the season from Paseka Mako's pass.

The other two semi-finals, between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport, United and Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic, will be played tonight.
