Inter Miami and free agent goalkeeper Luis Robles have agreed to a contract, the expansion club announced on Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Robles, who was named the Goalkeeper of the Year in 2015 as part of his eight-year MLS career with the New York Red Bulls.
Robles earned $490,000 in base salary by posting a 13-14-6 record with nine shutouts in 33 appearances with the Red Bulls last season.
The 35-year-old, who started an MLS record 183 consecutive starts between 2012 and 2018, sports a 114-71-53 mark in 238 career contests with the Red Bulls.
"Luis has had a storied MLS career and we are excited that it will continue in Miami," Inter Miami sporting director Paul McDonough said in a club statement. "We look forward to his contributions ahead of our inaugural MLS season."
The expansion team also announced it had signed three-time MLS Cup winner A.J. DeLaGarza, who was a free agent after spending most of the last three seasons with the Houston Dynamo.
DeLaGarza, 32, was part of the Galaxy teams that won MLS Cup in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and helped the Dynamo to the 2018 U.S. Open Cup.
"His versatility and experience are vital for the Club," said McDonough. "Pair that with his leadership ability, and he will be able to come into preseason ready to contribute."
Miami begins its first MLS season with the 2020 campaign.
