Yaya Toure is ready to join one of Manchester City's rivals for £1-a-week to prove to Pep Guardiola that he can still play the top level, his agent has said. Toure, 35, is a free agent, having being released at the end of the season after making just one Premier League start as City won the title. "Right now Yaya has a lot of offers from different countries, huge offers are being made, but we decided to dedicate the next season to Guardiola and show and prove to Man City fans that Yaya is still far from retiring," agent Dimitry Seluk told Russian website Sport24. "He's full of energy and willing to play the next season in England. In the time when huge amounts of money are spent on footballers in England, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any of the Premier League top-six clubs as a free agent and play for just £1 per week, with possible bonuses in case of certain achievements. "I reckon a player such as Yaya wouldn't be bad for any club, be it Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Tottenham or Liverpool. He's a winner." Seluk has had a feud with Guardiola since his days at Barcelona, and Toure apologised for comments his representative made after he was frozen out of the squad in the coach's first season at City. The agent said he believed Toure, who spent eight seasons at City, can carry on playing at the top for many years to come. "Yaya has always played with a 42 number on his back. That's the number we chose, as the age when he'll end up with football," he added. "I'm sure he's still strong enough to play three or four years at the highest level." Seluk's comments came after Toure accused Guardiola of being "cruel to him" and claimed he "often had problems with Africans." "When you treat Yaya, club legend, as he did, he turned the whole Africa against him and the club," Seluk added. "I'm sure African shamans won't let him win it. It'll be like an African curse on him." Manchester City declined to comment when contacted by ESPN FC about Toure's comments.
