Man United target Alexis Sanchez left out of Arsenal squad vs. Crystal Palace

LONDON -- Alexis Sanchez has been left out of Arsenal's squad for Saturday's home game against Crystal Palace as his move to Manchester United draws nearer.

Manager Arsene Wenger had said this week that there was still a chance Sanchez would play against Palace if a deal hadn't been completed, but his omission from the squad is further indication that his move is expected to be completed in the coming days.

However, Arsenal were given a triple injury boost as Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal all returned to the line-up.

But with Sanchez, out, Theo Walcott having joined Everton and Olivier Giroud injured, Arsene Wenger's only attacking options off the bench consist of academy products Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah.

Starting XI: Petr Cech; Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Nacho Monreal; Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi; Alexandre Lacazette.
