Man United target Ivan Perisic named in Inter tour squad to China, Singapore

Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has been named in the club's 28-man squad for the summer tour to China and Singapore, despite being linked heavily with a move to Manchester United.

Perisic, 28, is set to travel with the rest of the Inter squad on Tuesday but sources have told ESPN FC that United, who are currently playing in the ICC tournament in the United States, are still confident of landing the Croatia international.

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has played down suggestions Perisic is on the verge of a move, while Jose Mourinho, asked for an update on the transfer after United's 2-1 friendly win at Real Salt Lake, said: "No idea. No idea, my friend. No idea."

Reports from Italy have suggested that the Serie A giants are demanding £48 million for the 28-year-old, with United close to agreeing a fee.

Inter will train in Nanjing until Friday, then they face Schalke in Changzhou in the first friendly of the tour.

The club's first ICC game comes against Lyon on Monday back in Nanjing, before flying to Singapore to take on German champions Bayern Munich at the National Stadium on July 27 and English champions Chelsea two days later.
