Joe Garner leaves Rangers to join Ipswich Town

Ipswich have signed striker Joe Garner from Rangers on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old, whose signing was announced on the Town website, is the Tractor Boys' second signing of the summer following the arrival of Jordan Spence.

Garner made his name at Carlisle and Preston, helping the latter to promotion to the Championship in 2014-15 and landing the League One Player of the Year award in the process.

The forward scored 10 goals in 34 appearances for Rangers in the Premiership.
