Alvaro Morata's agent says Man United waiting on Real Madrid's decision

Alvaro Morata's proposed transfer to Manchester United awaits a decision from Real Madrid, the striker's agent has told calciomercato.com.

United have been linked with the 24-year-old after cooling their interest in Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann.

And just days after saying Morata would leave Madrid if his demands for more playing time are not met, agent Juanma Lopez confirmed that he has seen an offer from Old Trafford.

Asked about United's reported interest in his client, Lopez was quoted as saying: "They are a club with great glamour, a very interesting option.

"I can say that their proposal is a very, very important one and now the decision rests with Real."

But asked if a deal was near completion, Lopez was more cautious, adding: "I cannot say -- we will see."

The agent also confirmed that AC Milan had entered a substandard offer for Morata, before the Serie A club completed a €38 million deal for Porto striker Andre Silva on Monday.

"Yes, there was frequent contact with us until a few days ago -- I can confirm that," Lopez said of Milan's interest. "Quite simply, Real Madrid considered the Rossoneri's offer to be unsatisfactory."
