Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is set to join Italian side Torino on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old is currently training with the England squad ahead of two World Cup qualifiers but has been given permission to leave the camp and fly to Turin to tie up a deal, a source has told ESPN FC.
Hart is expected to have a medical on Wednesday before completing a move that will keep him at the Serie A side until the end of the season.
According to reports, City have agreed to subsidise a large percentage of Hart's salary.
The England international has been on the bench for four of City's five games this season with reserve keeper Willy Caballero chosen in his place.
New boss Pep Guardiola wants a keeper who is more comfortable with the ball at his feet and last week signed Chile captain Claudio Bravo for £13.5 million from Barcelona.
Hart's only appearance this season was in the Champions League playoff second leg against Steaua Bucharest, which was seen as a farewell appearance with City leading 5-0 from the first leg.
He waved and blew kisses to fans at the final whistle in what is likely to be his final game for the club after 10 seasons and 348 appearances.
Premier League rivals Sunderland had also been linked with a move for Hart but he has opted to move to Torino, who finished 12th in Serie A last season.
Hart is not expected to be the final City player to move before the transfer window closes on Aug. 31.
Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony and Samir Nasri are all likely to leave with Guardiola needing to cut his squad to match Premier League and Champions League quotas for non-homegrown players.
However, the Catalan coach has ruled out any new arrivals after signing eight players since his arrival this summer.
