Villarreal have further bolstered their attacking options by signing Nicola Sansone from Sassuolo.
German-born Italy international Sansone, 24, was a key member of the Sassuolo team who upset the established order to finish sixth in Serie A last season, qualifying for the Europa League ahead of AC Milan.

After agreeing a five-year deal at El Madrigal, the winger will travel to a preseason camp in Guitiriz to link up with his countryman Roberto Soriano, Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, Denis Cheryshev of Russia and Senegalese midfielder Alfred N'Diaye, who have all joined the Yellow Submarine this summer.
Villarreal announced the transfer on their official website on Sunday morning and said Sansone, a former Parma player, would be unveiled "in the next few days."
