Bayern Munich not after Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez - Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti has declared his dealings in the transfer market over this summer, closing the door on a mooted move for Bayer Leverkusen's Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

Bayern Munich have signed just Renato Sanches and Mats Hummels to close out the transfer season, but that is enough for the Italian coach.

He denied rumours that Bayern could make a move for the Mexican forward, whom he coached at Real Madrid in the 2014-15 campaign.

"I have a lot of love for Chicharito," Ancelotti said at a news conference in Chicago, where he is preparing to face his former club AC Milan. "He's a very serious professional and I had a very good relationship with him at Real Madrid,.

"I think now that he's at Bayer Leverkusen, he's going to be a very strong opponent, but an opponent is what he is. I've got to consider him an adversary.

"As I've said, the team is good as we are -- we are covered in every position.

"I'm really happy with the players we have got -- we've got a lot of quality. We don't need to buy other players because we have a good squad."

The pair met up in Vancouver in March when Hernandez was on international duty, and Ancelotti posted a picture on Twitter saying: "Nice to meet again with Chicharito in Vancouver, a great player and an excellent person."

The former Manchester United forward replied: "Totally grateful and very happy for meeting you again mister! I wish you all the best!!"
