Paris Saint-Germain sign Grzegorz Krychowiak from Sevilla

Grzegorz Krychowiak has become Paris Saint-Germain's second summer signing after signing a five-year contract with the French champions.

Krychowiak, 26, follows Hatem Ben Arfa into the club and will link up with Unai Emery, who managed him to great success at Sevilla.

The Poland international returns to France from Sevilla, whom he joined from Reims in 2014. During two seasons in La Liga the midfielder won the Europa League twice and played in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

"I am very proud to return to France and defend the colours of a club as ambitious as Paris Saint-Germain," he told the club's official website.

"The opportunity to continue working with Unai Emery was obviously a major factor in my decision. I have joined Paris to live very strong emotions and with the ambition of winning as many trophies as possible. I am looking forward to this exciting next step in my career."

Krychowiak has been capped 38 times by Poland and helped them reach the quarterfinals of Euro 2016, where they were beaten on penalties by Portugal.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi added: "Grzegorz represents the values of hard-work and fighting spirit, so important to our club, our fans and our new coach with whom he wanted to continue playing. I have no doubt he will become an important member of our squad."

PSG have also completed the signing of Belgium right-back Thomas Meunier from Club Brugge.
