West Brom have announced the signing of Manchester United defender Jonny Evans for an undisclosed fee, ending his nine-year stay at Old Trafford.
The deal will cost the Baggies an initial £6 million transfer fee, rising to £8m with add-ons, Press Association reported.
"I hope to push the Albion up the League," Evans told West Brom's website. "It's a new, fresh challenge for me. One I'm looking forward to."
Evans will join his neighbour Darren Fletcher at West Brom, while reuniting with former United teammates James Chester and Ben Foster, as well as international colleagues Chris Brunt and Gareth McAuley.
"I know a few of the lads already and I spoke to a couple, who highy recommended the club," Evans said.

West Brom moved for the 27-year-old Northern Ireland international after Tottenham centre-back Federico Fazio failed to agree a contract to move to The Hawthorns following a day of talks last week.
"This is a great signing for the club," coach Tony Pulis said. "Jonny brings a lot of experience and will be a big player for us -- he's a player I've been watching for some time.
"We are delighted to have him on board."
Evans has made 196 appearances for United, scoring seven goals, since making his debut in 2007 after coming through the ranks at Old Trafford.
But he fell out of favour under Louis van Gaal, playing only 17 times last season, and did not make a single first-team appearance this term.
His move to The Hawthorns is likely to trigger Joleon Lescott's exit after a year with the Baggies with sources telling ESPN FC that Aston Villa have agreed a fee for the defender.
