Schalke star Julian Draxler agrees terms for Juventus move - agent

Juventus have agreed terms with Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler -- but the two clubs have yet to agree a fee, Goal.com has quoted the Germany international's agent as saying.

Draxler, 21, is a summer target for Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri after the departure of playmaker Andrea Pirlo.

Goal.com reported that he had agreed a deal worth £2.6 million a year, quoting his agent Roger Wittmann as saying: "Now we are at the stage where only Schalke and Juventus have to talk and, after that, we will see what happens."

Draxler is under contract with Schalke until 2018, with reports saying the deal has a €45m release clause. Juve are understood to be willing to pay around €25m to land him.

Last week, Wittmann said his client had not yet accepted an offer from Juventus, denying reports in Italy that a deal had been struck.

Schalke had given Juve permission to talk to Draxler.

However, Wittmann told RevierSport: "Jule's considering a few things, but that has been the case every summer."
